Sen. Cory Booker returns to eastern Iowa after ‘a decisive moment’ for his campaign
Sen. Cory Booker is returning to Cedar Rapids and Iowa City on Monday. The New Jersey senator’s campaign for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination gained a new lease on life at the end of last month, when it reached a fundraising goal of $1.7 million, Booker announced on Sept. 21.

Iowa’s first urban farm is opening its own farmers market
On Tuesday, Cultivate Hope Urban Farm in Cedar Rapids will open its own farmers market. Cultivate Hope, the state’s first farm founded inside a city, and its new Cultivate Hope Market are projects of Matthew 25.
