This weekend is a particularly busy one around the Little Village homebase, thanks to the Refocus and Iowa City Book Fests in Iowa City. In addition to those festivities, this is also the closing weekend of Riverside Theatre’s production of POTUS, of which LV theatre columnist K. Margaret Smith urged readers not to miss. In Central Iowa, Ballet Des Moines presents Movimiento, an evening of newly commissioned work by internationally renowned choreographers. A Halloween highlight is in Cedar Rapids, as the 5th Realm haunted attraction puts a sci-fi twist on the haunted house experience.
