Mission Creek Festival (MCF) is taking over downtown Iowa City this weekend in Eastern Iowa, not to mention the big game Friday (and hopefully Sunday too, assuming the Hawkeyes pull off a win tonight). Plus, there’s plenty of great events to check out in Central Iowa. Danielle Nicole is playing at Wooly’s, and the Community Jazz Center of Greater Des Moines (CJC) is hosting six hours of local jazz on Sunday. Top pick? MCF, of course. If you don’t have a pass, you can still check out one of the many free events on Saturday.
