Beware! There is at least one Ides of March reference among the events in today’s Weekender. That reference comes courtesy of of the Charlie Otto show at Gabe’s this Saturday. Opening for Otto are a gamut of local acts from CR, IC and Des Moines. Speaking of the capital, check out the Anthony Orji Trio at The Cave DSM on Friday night. Orji is a recent NYC transplant and brings his East Coast jazz sensibilities. And in the Quad Cities, 40-year punk-rock veteran Bloody F Mess graces the Raccoon Motel stage.
