Whether you’re up for celebrating St. Patty’s Day or not, there are plenty of activities to entertain this weekend in Central Iowa. Save the Art 5 is happening at xBk on Friday night — local artists, musicians, and businesses are coming together for this event. Des Moines’ annual St. Patty’s races will be happening downtown on Saturday morning, in addition to the beloved parade. Stop by the Central Library to catch the Foy Irish Dancers performing after the parade finishes. Top pick? Chappell Roan at Val Air.

STA 5 will blend local artists, musicians and businesses together to present their work. This year’s event features art from Siricasso, Drewfree, un2een, and more.

Stop by the Central Library after the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade for some hot chocolate and a performance from the Foy School of Traditional Irish Dance.
