Meet the Artists
CSPS Hall — Saturday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m.
Legion Arts will host the second in a series of talks sponsored by the Iowa Arts Council. Framed as “Meet the Artists,” these talks, given across the state, allow the public to engage with the 2015 Iowa Arts Council Artist Fellows. The event at CSPS Hall will be the first this year.
This event will feature Rob Stephens, a print maker from Des Moines, playwright Lisa Schlesinger of Iowa City and Rachel Buse, also of Des Moines, a sculptor and painter. The talk lasts for an hour; a reception with light refreshments follows. Artist Seema Kapur, currently exhibiting at CSPS, will also be present. The next event in the series will be Mar. 5 in Greenfield, Iowa.
