
Now, if I remember correctly, Little Village Publisher Matt Steele once assured our radio listeners that this event is sure to be “whiskey soaked,” as roasts should be. But even if you don’t imbibe, you’ll find enough biting humor and good company to make this event well worth your evening, not to mention a perfect bookend on your Iowa City Book Festival.
Last year’s roast featured singers, poets and of course, plenty of ice-cold Iowa City browbeating. What does Roast This Town 2 have in store? Come on down to the Mill, July 17 at 6:30 p.m., and prepare to have your funny bone shattered into bits.
