Tokyo Police Club has perfected the specific brand of indie punk that has traded in mosh pits for dance floors without compromising intensity or energy. Stopping at Gabe’s in Iowa City, they played to a room that was ready to sing along. The show was opened by local indie acts Halfloves and John June Year.
