“No Kings” protests return on Saturday, with more than 3,000 events scheduled nationwide. Organizers say they anticipate the March 28 events to be the biggest day of protest in American history.

In Iowa, the number of communities participating in No Kings has grown with every protest, from 33 last June to 40 in October 2025. On Saturday, at least 55 cities around the state, from Onawa to Davenport and from Sioux Center to Keokuk, will participate in the protests against the Trump administration.

Most of the protests are scheduled for midday, but in Clarinda, Glenwood and Humboldt the rallies start at 9 a.m., and in Ankeny, which has the latest start time, things don’t get underway until 3:30 p.m.
