The Ideal Theater is proud to welcome Brandon Gibbs for a special, one-of-a-kind acoustic rock performance on Saturday, February 28.

An acclaimed songwriter, guitarist, and frontman, Iowa’s own Brandon Gibbs has built a reputation for powerful storytelling, soulful vocals, and dynamic live shows. Over the course of his career, Brandon has worked with and shared the stage alongside rock royalty — including Rikki Rockett of Poison, Joel Hoekstra of Whitesnake, and Joel Kosche of Collective Soul, while also collaborating with members of the legendary band Cinderella.

Blending elements of rock, blues, pop, and Americana, Brandon’s music connects on a deeply personal level, with standout songs like “Rain Whiskey”, “Lost Boys”, “Hero”, “This Town”, “Rich For Life”, and “First Friend”. Whether performing on major stages or in intimate settings, his performances leave a lasting impression.

For this exclusive Cedar Rapids appearance, Brandon will be joined by two of his closest friends and longtime collaborators:
