The dreary forecast on Friday, Oct. forced the student promoters of SCOPE productions to move the annual Homecoming concert from the Pentacrest to the Iowa Memorial Union this year. This didn’t affect the enthusiasm of the crowd or the bands. Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Vérité opened the show with indie dream pop four piece Saint Motel (of Los Angeles) headlining.
